1. Introduction

Alpha Edge Technologies, LLC ("Alpha Edge," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and safeguard information when you visit alphaedge-tech.com (the "Site").

This Site is a business-to-business ("B2B") marketing website directed at business professionals and organizations. It is not directed at consumers acting in a personal capacity or individuals under 18 years of age.

By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Voluntarily Provide

When you submit our contact form, we collect the following information that you voluntarily provide:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Service interest (selected from a predefined list of our service offerings)
  • Free-text message content

You are under no obligation to provide this information. Submitting the contact form constitutes your voluntary consent to the collection and processing of this data for the purposes described herein.

B. Information Collected Automatically by Third-Party Services

Google reCAPTCHA v3: This Site uses Google reCAPTCHA v3, a fraud and bot detection service provided by Google LLC. reCAPTCHA operates automatically in the background when you visit or interact with the Site. Google may collect your IP address, browser and device fingerprint, cookies, and behavioral signals (including mouse movements, scroll patterns, and keystroke timing). We do not receive, access, or store any of this data. Google processes it pursuant to its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. This processing begins upon page load, prior to any form submission.

EmailJS: When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, service selection, and message are transmitted to EmailJS Ltd. ("EmailJS") servers as the technical mechanism for delivering your message to our inbox. EmailJS acts as a data processor on our behalf pursuant to its Privacy Policy. EmailJS does not use your data for any purpose other than email delivery.

Firebase Hosting (Google Cloud): This Site is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a service operated by Google Cloud. In the ordinary course of operating the hosting infrastructure, Google Cloud may process server access logs that include IP addresses, timestamps, URLs requested, HTTP status codes, and user-agent strings. This processing is governed by Google Cloud's Privacy Notice.

Fonts: The typefaces used on this Site (Geist Sans and Geist Mono) are downloaded at build time and served directly from our hosting infrastructure. No requests are made to external font servers (including Google Fonts) when you visit the Site. No data is collected through font loading.

C. Information We Do Not Collect

This Site does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or any behavioral analytics service. We do not set any first-party cookies. We do not collect financial information, health data, biometric data, precise geolocation, education records, or employment information through this Site.

We do not use your personal information for advertising, retargeting, profiling, or automated decision-making. We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to any third party. We do not share your personal information with any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

We disclose personal information only to the following categories of service providers, solely for the purposes described in this policy:

Google LLC (reCAPTCHA, Firebase Hosting)

Receives: IP address, browser fingerprint, behavioral signals, server access logs. Purpose: bot detection, hosting infrastructure. Location: United States. Governed by Google Privacy Policy.

EmailJS Ltd.

Receives: name, email, service interest, message. Purpose: email delivery. Role: data processor. Governed by EmailJS Privacy Policy.

This Site contains an outbound link to our LinkedIn company page. Clicking this link navigates you to linkedin.com, which is operated by Microsoft Corporation and governed by LinkedIn's Privacy Policy. No data is transmitted to LinkedIn by this Site unless you affirmatively click the link.

We may also disclose personal information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This Site does not set any first-party cookies. The only cookies present on this Site are set by Google reCAPTCHA v3:

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Contact form submissions: Retained in our email system for up to 24 months following the last communication. We do not store form submissions in any separate database or CRM system.
  • reCAPTCHA data: Retained and processed exclusively by Google in accordance with its data retention policies.
  • Server access logs: Retained by Google Cloud per its standard logging policy, typically 30 to 90 days.

Upon expiration of these retention periods, or upon a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize personal information within a commercially reasonable timeframe.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • All data in transit is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS protocols
  • reCAPTCHA token verification is performed server-side via a secure API route
  • Sensitive credentials (API keys, secret keys) are stored as server-side environment variables, never exposed in client-side code
  • Anti-spam protections include reCAPTCHA v3, honeypot fields, and client-side rate limiting
  • We do not maintain a database of personal information; contact inquiries are stored in email only

No method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable regulatory authorities as required by law, including the Maryland Personal Information Protection Act (Md. Code, Com. Law § 14-3501 et seq.).

8. Your Privacy Rights

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, provides you with the following rights:

  • Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it.
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide different quality for exercising your CCPA rights.

Sale and Sharing Disclosure: We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. No opt-out mechanism is required or provided because no sale or sharing occurs.

EU/EEA/UK Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and its UK equivalent provide you with the following rights:

  • Right of access to your personal data
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests

Legal Basis: Our processing is based on (a) legitimate interests for security and anti-spam measures (reCAPTCHA, server logs), and (b) pre-contractual steps taken at your request when you submit the contact form (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

International Transfers: Personal data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Google LLC maintains EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification and Standard Contractual Clauses. EmailJS maintains appropriate transfer mechanisms as described in its privacy policy.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your EU member state or the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a privacy request, email contact@alphaedge-tech.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." Please include sufficient information to verify your identity (such as the email address used in a prior form submission). We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and provide a substantive response within:

  • CCPA: 45 calendar days (with one 45-day extension for complex requests upon notice)
  • GDPR: 30 calendar days (with a possible 60-day extension for complex requests upon notice)

9. Children's Privacy

This Site is directed exclusively at business professionals and organizations. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a minor, we will take prompt steps to delete such information. If you believe a minor has provided personal information through this Site, please contact us immediately.

10. Third-Party Links

This Site may contain links to third-party websites, including our LinkedIn company page. These links are provided for your convenience. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party website. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit after leaving our Site.

11. Email Communications

If you submit a contact form inquiry, we may respond by email. These responses are transactional communications directly related to your inquiry. We do not currently send newsletters, marketing emails, or promotional communications. Should this practice change in the future, we will: (a) obtain your consent where required by applicable law, (b) include a clear and conspicuous unsubscribe mechanism in each message, (c) include our physical mailing address as required by the CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq.), and (d) honor opt-out requests within 10 business days.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes. This Privacy Policy is reviewed at least annually in accordance with CCPA requirements (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.130(a)(5)(B)).

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the District of Columbia.
